Privacy policy (GDPR / Norway)

• Data controller: To Ellis AS (Org. nr. 935 950 740), Sjoarbakken 6 C, 5411 Stord, Norway.

• What we collect: When you place an order, contact us, or sign up for email updates, we may collect personal data such as name, email, phone number, shipping/billing address, order details, device/IP information, and (where applicable) payment-related identifiers.
• Purpose and legal basis:
  • To provide and deliver your purchase (performance of contract).
  • To provide customer support and handle returns/complaints (legitimate interests and/or legal obligations).
  • To comply with bookkeeping/tax requirements (legal obligation).
  • For marketing emails/newsletters where you have opted in (consent; you can withdraw at any time).
• Sharing / processors: We share necessary information with service providers who help operate the store (e.g. Shopify as ecommerce platform, payment providers, email/SMS tools, and shipping/logistics providers like Bring). These parties process data on our behalf or as independent controllers where applicable.
• International transfers: Shopify and some apps may process data outside Norway/EEA. Where required, transfers are safeguarded using appropriate mechanisms (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
• Retention: We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal retention periods (e.g. accounting records).
• Cookies and tracking: The storefront uses cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential cookies/marketing tracking are used only where you have provided consent (as configured via Shopify and any connected apps).

• Complaints: If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can also complain to the relevant supervisory authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet).
